Los Angeles based artist Tonia Calderon has been creating series after series of captivating visual declarations. Calderon is inspired by her personal life experiences, relationships and multi cultural background. Calderon applies boundless structures and surfaces through a unique scope forcing the viewer to question, feel, and reflect. Armed with a myriad of unpredictable mediums Calderon constantly challenges traditional definitions of a contemporary art by inviting an intimate level of interaction with her work.
