In an arena where the originality of graffiti-based art often fell into question, Jeej asserted his vision in 2020. People and companies with no background within the scene were jumping on the trend without honoring the culture or including real writers. His vision was clear: to forge a bridge between the authentic essence of street art and the refined sphere of contemporary art. His works are a homage to the intrepid spirit of street culture, offering a narrative woven from the threads of fearlessness and expressive freedom.
Today, the high contrast from his youth forms the foundation for his creations. The combination of raw and playful elements offers invitation to a new outlook on two experiences that at first glance contradict each other. The playful aspect is symbolized by faceless, iconic characters. This refers to the underlying principle of graffiti: Everyone knows your name, but no one has a face to go with it. He uses vibrant colors and many different elements. Besides painting, he uses different graffiti techniques that he has mastered through years of experience.
